The Y.E.S. EEIG is the legal and management backbone of Y.E.S. Forum. The Y.E.S. EEIG runs the European office and the virtual communication platform. The Y.E.S. EEIG staff is creating overall coherence, bringing forward the strategic development of the network, attracting new organisational members in further countries, organising meetings and assemblies, developing strategic projects.
As outlined in its statutes, the EEIG is open for social organisations in Europe with (trans-) regional character that work in the sectors of youth guidance, education, vocational training, apprenticeship and employment policy. These organisations should act in favour of excluded young people or those threatened by exclusion.
The EEIG status has been chosen as a suitable European legal framework allowing to unite organisations of different make-up from different countries. A non-profit clause in the statutes makes the Y.E.S. EEIG a true social enterprise.
