Yo-Train is based on the results of a previous project called Yo-Pro, youth work in progress, where training material for youth workers were developed. The purpose of the current project - Yo-Train - youth workers in training - is to design a consistent training concept linked to a method of recognising the non-formal learning occurring.
The beneficiaries of the project are professional youth workers both in the sense that further training and skill enhancement programmes will be developed and improved and in the sense that the youth worker profession will be better defined in relation to the demands in the society.
