The Y.E.S. Forum is involved in the vast EU-funded network "Language learning and social media: 6 key dialogues". This 2010-2012 network aims to explore social networking technologies (also known as web 2.0 tools) used to learn and teach languages in Europe. Participatory debates, award-winning competitions, policy recommendations and reports, scientific publications and field studies will be organised on a regular basis.
The role of the Y.E.S. Forum in the project is to assure that the perspective of young people with fewer opportunities is taken into account when it comes to research and development of social media and language learning methods and technologies in the European Union.
