The General Assembly provided a platform for YES Forum and its members

  • to reflect on developments and activities of 2025,
  • to review the annual accounts,
  • to agree on the economic plan for 2026
  • to get an overview of the latest EU policy developments
  • to explore opportunities for collaboration in 2026 and beyond.

Furthermore, YES Forum welcomed new member Avalatea from Spain to the network.

YES Forum members were then honoured by a visit from Reșița’s Mayor, who welcomed participants to his town and gave an inspiring personal account on the challenges and successes of the town of Reșița in its transition from former industrial hub to a diversified local economy – a topic relevant in many former industrial towns around Europe.

Following the formal part of the assembly participants used the opportunity to go on field visits in Reșița.
Prefacing the field visits, a local council representative and Daniel Grebeldinger, director of Nevo Parudimos, explained their cooperation in providing services and social housing to the most vulnerable Roma communities in Reșița. The success of this work could then be experienced during the field visits to Nevo Parudimos’ youth centre, a local NGO hub and social housing project. Focusing on community-driven approaches to Roma inclusion and youth work as well as cooperation with local policy-makers, the field visits inspired participants to think further in their own contexts.
